A candidate account and a business account are separate sessions, each with its own cookie. That way one person can be signed in to both in the same browser — posting a job for their venue in one tab and browsing jobs in another — without either sign-in knocking out the other. Neither cookie holds your screening answers or profile data: they only carry the token that proves you're signed in.
Under GDPR/ePrivacy rules, a consent banner is required for non-essential cookies (like analytics or advertising) — not for cookies that are strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for, like staying logged in. The session cookies above are the only ones we set, so we don't show a consent banner. If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies, we'll update this page and add a consent option before doing so.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser's settings at any time. Note that blocking these authentication cookies will sign you out and prevent you from staying logged in.
